Rwanda

Rwanda

Welcome to the Land Of A Thousand Hills, otherwise known as Rwanda. This small, landlocked country in East Africa is well-known for its breathtaking natural beauty — the rainforests, waterfalls, wildlife and volcanoes here have been attracting more and more tourists the last few years.

As gorgeous as the Rwandan countryside is, it is primarily the wildlife that attracts tourists. The country is arguably the best in the world for mountain gorilla trekking. It is also the home of the world’s largest natural park for hippos.

Plastic bags are banned in Rwanda and tourists are not allowed to bring them into the country.
