Arriving in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, is like stepping back in time to a medieval city. Did you know that the entire Old Town of Tallinn is a UNESCO World Heritage Site? Or that the country is famous for its delicious ― and cheap ― craft beer? These are just a couple of the interesting and unexpected things that I discovered while during my first trip here.
Located on the Baltic Sea, Estonia is a great budget-friendly escape from Scandinavia. There is even a large sign at the port of Tallinn warns new arrivals that they have arrived at the “gateway to your next adventure” 😆
