Australia

Australia

The geographical location and old age of the continent, combined with its remote location, have resulted in unique flora and fauna found only in Australia. Nowhere else on earth. A whooping 85% of the mammals, plants and fishes found here are endemic to Australia and do not naturally occur anywhere else on the entire planet!

Kangaroos are the first unique Aussie animal that most often comes to mind — after all, it is the national animal — however do not forget about the Emu, the second-largest species of bird on Earth and the national bird of Australia. (Only its cousin the ostrich is bigger.)

Be Unique. Travel Different.     Offbeat Sydney Activities & Destinations

Koalas, wombats and kookaburras are just a few of the countless species unique to Oz (most of which have funny-sounding names). If you get bored exploring above-ground, head down under the sea to glimpse Australia’s unique marine life and finally cross “Scuba diving at the Great Barrier Reef” off of your bucket list.

It is not just plants, animals, and marine life either. The country is full of adventures and activities. No matter what sort of entertainment, excitement or exotic escapades you have in mind for Oz, The HoliDaze is here to help 😃
